How the Finder ranks cards
Cards you cannot get in your country are set aside first. The rest are ranked by estimated net cost over a year: fixed fees, percentage fees and rewards, converted into your currency. A fee we cannot find is never counted as zero. When an issuer does not publish some fees, we estimate with the fees it does publish and list what the figure leaves out. In Best match, complete estimates rank first, then partial ones, then cards where no fee is known, for which we still show what we know. When you sort by net cost, fees or rewards, every estimate is ranked by that figure, and a partial figure is shown as "at least" for a cost or "up to" for a gain. When an issuer lists only a yearly or only a monthly card fee, we count the other one as not charged. Affiliate partnerships play no part in the ranking.
