Crypto cards that spend from your own balance, with no credit line. Ranked by what they would cost you per year once their fees are counted.
Read our guide: how to chooseShowing costs in EUR for a typical profile: EUR 500 a month, 30% in a foreign currency, rewards that need staking or a paid plan left out. Choose your country to see only the cards open to you, priced in your currency.
Complete estimates come first, then cards that leave out a fee the issuer does not list. Cards without a cost estimate come last, ordered by how many of their fees are verified.

You top up the card with crypto, or the card is linked to a balance you already hold. When you pay, the card company takes the amount from that balance. The issuer and the card network then settle the payment with the shop in ordinary money. The shop never sees your crypto.
What differs between cards is when the conversion happens. Some cards sell your crypto at the moment of payment, at whatever rate applies then. Others convert the balance ahead of time, for example when you top up, so the card holds its own currency and the rate is fixed before you tap. Both are normal. Each has its own costs, which is why the conversion spread is worth checking.
Many people search for a “crypto credit card”. Most crypto cards are not credit cards. They are debit or prepaid cards, and you can only spend what you hold or have loaded.
The three look the same in a shop, but they work differently.
We keep them on separate lists because the rules, the risks and the costs are different. A card with no product type on file is not assumed to be a debit card.
Start with the basics, then look at the costs.
Our ranking turns these into one estimated net cost. Fees we have not verified are left out and flagged, never counted as zero. The methodology explains how.
Many cards are open only to some countries, so the list changes with where you live. Across all countries it ranks 33 cards. A few examples:
