Why look for an alternative to Binance
People look for another card for ordinary reasons, and one is often enough.
- It is not offered where you live. A card only helps if the issuer serves your country.
- The fees do not suit how you spend. Paying abroad often costs different things than paying at home.
- You want a different custody model. Some people want the company to hold their crypto, others want their own wallet. See custodial vs self-custody.
- You want a different network. The card network decides where the card works.
- You want other identity checks. Some cards ask for more documents than others.
- You want a credit card or rewards. Not every card is a debit card or pays rewards.

How to pick an alternative
- Custody. Decide who holds your crypto until you spend it. The self-custody list shows cards where you keep control. The guide compares custodial and self-custody cards.
- FX fees and markup. A card can charge no FX fee and still add a markup to the rate. Read the FX guide, or start from the no FX fee list.
- Top-up and conversion. Adding money to the card, or converting crypto into the balance, can cost something on its own. Check the conversion fee on each card page.
- ATM use. If you need cash, check the ATM terms first. The ATM list ranks cards for withdrawals.
- Network. The card network affects where the card works. Compare Visa and Mastercard cards.
- Identity checks. You will usually have to prove who you are. The KYC guide explains what to expect.
How the list is ranked
Cards are ranked by estimated net cost per year: the fees you would pay minus the rewards you would earn, using the Finder’s default spending profile. A card without its cost fees on file gets no estimate and is listed last. A missing value is never treated as zero.
