Why look for an alternative to Bybit
These are general reasons, and worth asking yourself before you switch.
- Availability. A card may not be offered in your country.
- Cost for your spending. A fee that hardly matters for one spending pattern can add up for another.
- Custody. You may prefer a company that holds your crypto, or a wallet you control yourself.
- Network. You may want a specific card network because of where it is accepted.
- Identity checks. You may want a lighter or a different level of KYC.
- Product type. You may want a credit card or rewards instead of a plain debit card.

How to pick an alternative
- Custody. Decide who should hold your crypto until you pay. See the self-custody list and the guide on the two models.
- FX fee and markup. A card can have no FX fee and still add a markup to the rate. Read the guide on FX fees and markups, or start with the no FX fee list.
- Top-up and conversion. Adding money, or converting crypto into the card balance, can cost something on its own. The stablecoin cards are one option if you want a steadier balance.
- ATM use. If you need cash, compare the ATM list.
- Network. Pick by acceptance where you shop: Visa or Mastercard.
- Identity checks. Check the KYC level before you sign up. The KYC guide explains the levels.
How the list is ranked
The list ranks cards by estimated net cost per year: the fees you would pay minus the rewards you would earn. Every card goes through the same default spending profile, so the order is fair, but it is still a model. Cards without their cost fees on file get no estimate and come after the ones that do.
